![]() ![]() Pretty sure I can't be the only person with a Deco that is wanting to do such a basic thing like this. I've tried disabling the IPS etc on the Deco to see if it was that, but alas it makes no difference. I've now got the Deco as a router and have set up forwarding the same as before, but connectivity to the cameras when I'm inside my network sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, and when it does, it is hideously slow. NAT loopback just simplifies the way a LAN connection might access services you expose to the world on your WAN. I am connected to my server with a 2nd computer over LAN. 1 Answer Sorted by: 9 Short Explanation Pretty confident the answer is enabling NAT loopback will not help you in any way for your basic needs. Everything seemed to be working but when i tried to transfer my char to the other server, it didnt let me. With my old router I used to do this and it worked absolutely fine when accessing these either internally or externally from my home network. Hello So I've been trying to setup a private Ark Cluster-server on my Laptop. Each one is accessed via a DDNS domain name and NAT'd on my router using port forwarding (ie incoming connections to router IP address on port 8000 is forwarded to 1 camera on port 80, and 8001 is forwarded to a different camera on port 80 etc. ![]() To give context of what is happening, I have a bunch of web cameras which I access from my mobile device (phone) on a regular basis. But for some reason the Deco seems to "kind of" support it, when it can be bothered. My PC is connected to the first router and connects to the server via the 2nd router.Ok so I thought it was a case of either supporting it or not supporting it. My question is: If I put another router behind my first router, connect my server to the 2nd router with the right portforwarding, on the 1st router i portforward to the second router so others can access it too. As this is my only use of said router its abit on the expensive side and according to the guy I asked its the price range Id have to expect to get this feature, around $150. I found one that have this: TP-Link Archer AX72 WiFi 6 Gaming router. u/RoweDent created this awesome resource on network theoryĪfter abit of googeling on why I cant transfer my character from one Ark: survival evolved server to another in my cluster ( hosting my own dedicated servers) I have one last idea to solve it, by enabling NAT loopback, which the router I got from ISP doesnt support. u/tht1kidd_ has created a suggestion post regarding information everyone needs to provide when asking a question about their network There have been some excellent guides written in this sub, and we're always looking for more!
